DescriptionProvides direct patient care to adolescent adult and geriatric populations with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability independence participation and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Inpatient care only
Work Schedule: Per Diem; One weekend/month with 1-2 holidays/year. Preferred to have availability to cover during weekdays also with willingness to flex to other sites if needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school with a Doctorate Masters or Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required.
- Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
- Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license (Specific only to employees practicing in Wisconsin)
- Current BLS- American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS for Health Professionals).
- Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
- Proficient in clinical equipment related to the area of expertise.
- Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recommend experience as an Occupational Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
- Recommend membership in related professional organization such as the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) or the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT).
