How youll contribute

A Monitor Technicianwho excels in this role:

• Under the supervision of the RN performs telemetry monitoring.

• Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors.

• Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.

• Identifies and corrects for artifacts.

• Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

• Tests equipment for proper working order.

• Reports equipment problems to supervisor.

• Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and procedures.

What were looking for

• Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

• Required Skills: Critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Certifications: Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer
