Position GoalsTo provide leadership and support in the development implementation and coordination of a cohesive inclusive equity-driven PK-12 proficiency-based curriculum instruction and assessment system that serves all learners; to provide leadership and support in the selection of aligned curricular programs as needed;to incorporate culturally responsive anti-racist approaches curriculum-related initiative and collaborate to provide training and support to educators engaging in that work; to monitor the progress and outcomes of a proficiency-based graduation system; to facilitate the integration of educational technology into curriculum to enhance teaching and personalize learning; to facilitate ongoing continuous improvement planning comprehensive needs assessments and the collection analysis and interpretation of learning information; to design an annual implementation plan for needs-based professional development; to collaboratively lead the administration of elementary middle and secondary continuous improvement goals by supporting cycles of progress monitoring; to develop and oversee federal/state grant programs; to facilitate Whole School Whole Child Whole Community prevention and wellness initiatives across the supervisory union; to serve as liaison between FWSU and our communities interpreting activities and policies in the context of continuous improvement and equity;support member schools in planning for meaningful community and parent engagement; and to work collaboratively to reduce the effects of systemic racism and marginalization for FWSU students and educators. QualificationsEducation. Masters Degree in Education or other appropriate and Experience. Valid Vermont Professional Educators License with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. Valid Administrator and/or Director of Curriculum License Endorsements with 1-5 years of administrative experience.
