UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital is a 204-bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley. Allen Hospital is the busiest hospital in the Cedar Valley. We care for more inpatients outpatients emergency patients and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway offer outpatient care in facilities that are built for your comfort and convenience.
- Full-time multi-specialty opportunity
- Efficient well-supported clinic located at United Medical Park an ambulatory campus which also has a Multi-specialty ASC attached
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Great work/life balance
- 204 bed Hospital Level 3 trauma center with established Hospitalist Team
- 16 bed ICU with intensivist
Responsibilities
- Management of Upper extremity conditions in the inpatient as well as the outpatient setting.
- Flexible work week-with built in surgery days at hospital and ASC.
- Midlevel support (NP/PA)
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Fellowship trained in Hand surgery.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
