This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented professional to launch a career in bid and proposal management. The Associate Bid Manager is a foundational member of the team providing critical support across the proposal and content management lifecycle while developing the core skills necessary for advancement within Five9.

What youll bring to the team:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g. English Communications Business
Technical Writing).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a natural talent for clear concise and
professional expression.
An impeccable eye for detail and a passion for organization; you thrive in structured
environments and dont let anything fall through the cracks.
A proactive and collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn and a willingness to take on
new challenges in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with and support Bid Managers in the end-to-end coordination of multiple
simultaneous RFP responses ensuring adherence to all deadlines and quality standards.
Uphold the quality and clarity of all proposal documents through meticulous proofreading
formatting and editing.
Help create and maintain project outlines and track the progress of assignments from project
team members.
Actively participate in proposal kickoff meetings capturing key decisions and action items to
ensure project alignment from the start.
Under the guidance of senior team members collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
across the organization to gather and synthesize the technical and business information
required to create compelling responses.
Transform boilerplate content and raw input from SMEs into clear persuasive and client-centric
proposal narratives.
Build a foundational knowledge of Five9s product suite and service offerings to ensure the
accuracy and relevance of all proposal content.

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M W TH) in our San Ramon office.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus stock and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
