Job Summary

Space Planner and Analyst DLR Group Inc. (Charlotte NC). Support planning and design projects focused on equity community engagement sustainability and resiliency while developing robust planning and urban design analysis diagrams and illustrative plans.

Duties include:write narratives; develop deliverables that explain recommendations and capital planning for facilities open space and infrastructure; lead and grow data-informed space planning processes and assist integrated design teams in developing updating and promoting firmwide protocols and standards; coordinate on all aspects of the project document development and delivery; and collaborate with all integrated design project team members to produce quality work products while adhering to project schedules and work plans.

Requires:

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture Planning or closely related field plus 4 years experience in the architectural field.
  • Requires experience with:
    • conducting calculations based on space standards including FICM CEFPI OTL ALA NIRSA
    • collaborating on integrated design projects of scale of minimum valuation of $1 Billion
    • proficiency in Revit GIS AutoCAD Qualtrics InDesign; PowerBI Python and Excel; Bluebeam
    • and creating and integrating advanced data models with cloud services for purposes of space planning.
