Heres What You Need
Bachelors Degree Pharmacy Required
Other Pharm D. Required
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
PHAR- Pharmacist upon hire required.
3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.
At least 5-year Inpatient (Not Retail or Clinic) Acute Care Pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
IV certification highly preferred
Experience with the provision of more advanced clinical pharmacy services such as antimicrobial stewardship pharmacokinetic dosing and participating in Code Blue
Experience precepting pharmacy students in an inpatient hospital pharmacy
Experience with Oncology Pediatrics or Intensive Care
Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
Communicating effectively building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
Ensuring the accuracy of ones own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the departments quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
Ongoing professional development and growth.
Not only the management of ones own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
