- Assist in the preparation analysis and review of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and coordinate daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll processing general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor analyze and report on budget variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare comprehensive management reports and financial analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making by senior leadership
- Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors ensuring all required documentation is accurate complete and readily available for audit activities
- Participate actively in cost control initiatives and profitability improvement projects providing analytical insights and recommendations
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and relevant stakeholders
- Train mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and maintaining high standards of accounting practices
- Ensure full compliance with local Nepali tax regulations statutory requirements and international accounting principles
Qualifications :
**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a senior finance or accounting position or minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Assistant Manager capacity
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation analysis and reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable accounts receivable payroll general ledger and bank reconciliation functions
- Strong background in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Experience implementing and maintaining internal control procedures and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Experience coordinating with internal and external auditors
**Education & Certifications**
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification (preferred)
**Skills & Competencies**
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems and software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
