Job Summary

Were looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager- Finance to join our finance team in Kathmandu this role you will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing valuable insights to drive organizational success. You will work collaboratively with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain robust financial controls prepare accurate financial reports and support strategic decision-making.   • Assist in the preparation analysis and review of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise and coordinate daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll processing general ledger maintenance and bank reconciliations
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor analyze and report on budget variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports and financial analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making by senior leadership
  • Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures to safeguard organizational assets and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors ensuring all required documentation is accurate complete and readily available for audit activities
  • Participate actively in cost control initiatives and profitability improvement projects providing analytical insights and recommendations
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and relevant stakeholders
  • Train mentor and provide guidance to junior finance team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and maintaining high standards of accounting practices
  • Ensure full compliance with local Nepali tax regulations statutory requirements and international accounting principles

Qualifications :

**Experience**

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a senior finance or accounting position or minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Assistant Manager capacity
  • Proven experience in financial statement preparation analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable accounts receivable payroll general ledger and bank reconciliation functions
  • Strong background in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
  • Experience implementing and maintaining internal control procedures and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Experience coordinating with internal and external auditors

**Education & Certifications**

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification (preferred)

**Skills & Competencies**

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems and software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills

**Domain Expertise**

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Understanding of local Nepali tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with internal audit procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of financial control frameworks and risk management principles
