As the Head of AI Competence Center & Analytics Enabling Functions (m/w/d) you are an important interface between our enabling functions (especially HR and Finance) our AI & Analytics community and the wider MB Energy organization. You lead our AI Competence Center and the analytics enablement for enabling functions reporting into senior leadership within the digital/data domain. You ensure that HR and Finance benefit from scalable AI clean data foundations automation and clear governance while supporting the AI capabilities of our commercial AI & Analytics this role you connect strategy and execution by turning AI automation and analytics into tangible trusted tools in peoples daily work. You will work closely with transformation programs (e.g. Finance Transformation People Analytics) and help shape data models reporting standards and cross-functional analytics requirements.
Your tasks in a nutshell:
Drive AI & Platform Adoption: You drive the adoption of AI Microsoft 365 Copilot Power Platform and GenAI tools across MB Energy so that employees understand trust and effectively use these technologies.
Own AI Products & Governance: You define and own the product vision and roadmap for MB Chat Copilot Studio and GenBI and you run AI processes including use case intake validation risk checks and alignment with Legal Compliance and Data Governance.
Enable Learning & Communities: You provide training formats office hours and build communities of practice to develop AI and analytics capabilities and foster responsible AI usage across the organization.
Deliver Analytics for Enabling Functions: You support HR and Finance with data integration reporting automation and analytics solutions.
Automate Processes & Ensure Compliance: You drive operational excellence by automating manual processes and ensure compliant handling of sensitive data such as PII payroll and organizational data.
Lead & Develop the Team: You lead a cross-functional team of AI engineers data and automation specialists and adoption managers fostering a culture of continuous improvement innovation and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
What helps you to fulfill this role:
Professional Background: You bring several years of experience in AI analytics digital transformation or data/automation leadership for example as Head of Data/AI Analytics Lead or as a senior project lead in data-driven transformations.
Enabling Functions Expertise: You have experience in finance analytics people analytics or financial reporting automation and are familiar with the needs of HR and Finance in a transforming complex corporate environment.
Technical Environment: You have a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies especially Power Platform Copilot Power BI and the broader M365 ecosystem and you know how to use them to build scalable solutions.
Stakeholder & Governance Skills: You are skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment and understand data models reporting architecture and governance requirements for sensitive data.
Leadership Experience: You have proven experience in leading teams or strong functional/project leadership guiding cross-functional teams and external partners and helping your team stay focused across many use cases.
Language: You are fluent in both German and English.
