The Senior Group Leader Maintenance is responsible for troubleshooting repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role serves as a lead technician offering technical guidance and project oversight while mentoring junior maintenance associates. The position requires independent problem-solving and decision-making with a strong emphasis on efficiency and safety. Pay Range: $34.46-$37.89 Key Responsibilities: - Install maintain and repair machinery equipment structures and electrical and piping systems.
- Follow specifications blueprints manuals and schematics to perform work.
- Use hand tools power tools hoists cranes and measurement/testing instruments.
- Assess problems independently implement solutions and report results to supervision.
- Perform root cause analysis and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Fabricate and assemble components to complete repairs and modifications.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical issues using a multi-meter.
- Use vertical mill as needed for equipment repair or fabrication.
- Assist line operators with diagnosing mechanical malfunctions.
- Organize job materials and workflow for optimal with Group Leaders Supervisors and Engineering personnel.
- Assign tasks within a project to other Maintenance personnel.
- Oversee maintenance jobs and ensure completion to project specifications.
- Determine methods and means to complete complex maintenance projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior repairmen and team members.
- Train personnel on maintenance methods procedures and best practices.
Essential Skills: - Strong knowledge of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Skilled in using diagnostic and repair tools
- Experience in fabrication and troubleshooting of plant systems
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and workflow organization
