Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time Human Resources Business Partner with experience in employee relations to join our NYAP team. This is a hybrid position with a requirementof going into our Columbus Ohio office at least once a week with an option to work from home the other also be open to travelingas needed for the role.
Compensation: $50000 annually.
Hours: 9am-5pm
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for NYAP will support managers and employees in delivering HR support by appropriately leveraging four key HR responsibilities: Strategic Partner Change Agent Technical/Functional HR Expert and Employee Champion.

Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner will perform duties including but not limited to:
- Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission values and philosophies.
- Partner with region/department leaders and client group to facilitate the implementation of our performance managementprocess that drives high-performance and accountability.
- Provide effective performance management coaching insights and feedback to managers to influence appropriate and objective outcomes (i.e. establishing and cascading performance objectives managing performance issues coaching direct reports).
- Support leaders with evaluating and calibrating performance results and objectives across individuals teams and regions to ensure achievements and internal equity.
- Partner with the corporate HR team to ensure HR administrative processes and employee transactions are handled flawlessly while serving as an employee advocate to foster a culture of openness based on integrity pride and trust.
- Coach Managers/Supervisors on basic interpersonal communication and management skills and the need to surface and act on employee concerns to foster a culture that drives employee engagement.
- Leverage knowledge of employee concerns and the understanding of the business strategy and its potential impact on employees to drive decision-making.
- Apply consulting skills to help clients diagnose and solve problems.
- Apply staffing (internal and external) expertise to ensure that NYAP matches the right skills with the right jobs at the right time while ensuring compliance with federal and state laws/policies (i.e. EEOC regulations).
- Apply employee relations/employment law knowledge to ensure consistency standardization and compliance of staffing and selection practices (i.e. applicant tracking flow logs consistent treatment etc.).
- Help managers identify on-the-job skill building performance improving time management systems and career coaching to match employee needs and aspirations with those of the organization.
- Conduct talent assessments/talent reviews and create succession plans that address the clients talent pipeline gaps and will deliver a strong leadership bench for the future.
- Deliver appropriate employment and labor relations strategies to minimize external influences on team members.
- Drive the development and delivery of communications strategies within areas of support.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
5 years professional level experience in Human Resources.
Knowledgeable in Human Resources practices and principles.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers smart phones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.
Driving and Vehicle Requirements

- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $10000/$300000 bodily injury liability
