An exciting opportunity to join a team of Environmental professionals at Boliden Tara Mines. You will support the operation and its leadership team to achieve best practice environmental performance and compliance with our operating licences. The successful applicant will work and lead in a way that supports Boliden Taras core values of Care Courage & Responsibility.
Your Job your tasks will include but not limited to:
Compliance with the monitoring programme as described in the companys Industrial Emissions licence.
Completing submission for Planning applications Licence reviewapplicationsand other business critical applications tostateagencies.
Investigationfollow-upand reporting of environmental incidents to the Statutory Authorities.
Timely reporting of Monthly Quarterly and Annual data to Boliden Group and Statutory Authorities.
Design and implementation of solution to improve environmental performance.
Lead audits conducted by EPA external 3rd Party and Boliden Group.
Management of external stakeholders.
There may be a requirement for this position to be available outside of normal working hours.
Your profile your characteristics knowledge skills:
Work effectively as an Environmental Engineer building strong relationships across the organisationoperatingin a flexible and collaborative manner.
Logical Ability Youhave the ability towork with complex environmental issues in a competent and confident way.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical ability with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement.
Proactive with a can-do approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Honest & Ethical & confidential Valuing integrity and honesty as a core personal value.
Experience & Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years in a similar Industry with considerable exposure to the environmental function.
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry.
A Technical College or University Degree in a Science EnvironmentalEngineeringor related discipline is desirable.
Additional Info:
This role will be full time Mon Fri basis from 8am 16.30pm.
You maybe requiredto workadditionalhours to suit the needs of the business.
