$20000 Commitment Bonus (2 Years)

Schedule: Three 12 Hour Shifts Full-Time Nights (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)

Summary:

Provides direct patient care in the Medical Surgical Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Reports to: Director or Manager of Medical Surgical Department

How Youll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration specimen collection and clinical treatments.
Documents patient care and monitors patient condition communicating with care team physician patient and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers discharges referrals and support needs.
Provides patient and family education appropriate to age culture and circumstances.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
PALS ACLSand Handle with Care Preferred
One year of RN experience
