JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Forest Dynamics Lab in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management is looking for a part-time summer undergraduate research assistant to help with projects in forest ecology and management. Most work will be at local research sites and include forest measurements tree-ring sampling and research site maintenance with occasional data entry and lab work. We are looking for someone interested in fieldwork forests and research; and who can enthusiastically work outside under a range of conditions including rain and heat and tolerate exposure to insects and we are looking for someone who is dependable and interested in working in a group. Priority will be given to students with tree identification and measurement skills.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
