SALARY: up to $55000- $67151 annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Specialist of Services is responsible for assisting in day-to-day end user technology operations (workstation peripherals network and file access procurement vendor management incident management) throughout the City. Assists in the evaluation planning and implementation of services. Represents the services function related to capacity continuity availability security and change management. Makes recommendations for technology architecture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in maintaining the relationship with vendor-managed Help Desk for incident management including escalation to internal City resources.
Assists users across the City through the technology procurement process and purchasing guidelines.
Oversees hardware and software deployment including lease-refresh and technology needs for project implementation.
Oversees all static and mobile end-point assets including computers laptops tablets peripherals phones and multi-function printer copiers.
Oversees all user technology security rights
Coordinates and implements technology upgrades for enterprise systems.
NON-ESSENTIAL/MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as apparent or as assigned.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related area of study. Significant professional experience will be considered in place of a degree.
Minimum 2 years of IT operations experience.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Excellent organization skills.
Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a professional manner.
Ability to analyze problems and select proper corrective action.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Experience with directory services and support (Active Directory).
Experience in IT operations including incident management and troubleshooting.
CERTIFICATES LICENSE REGISTRATION:
Valid Drivers license required.
