Overview
The Legal Department of a national publicly traded healthcare companyseeksa highly organized analyticaland proactive individual to serve as Legal Operations Administrator. This role supports the operational administrative and strategic functions of the Legal Department with a focus on legal operationsadministrationcontractmanagementdepartment administration legal entitymanagementand licensure/enrollmentsupport.The Legal Operations Administrator will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal Department by managing processes systems reporting documentation and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong communicationand organizational skillsdemonstratecomfort working with senior leadership and thrive in a fast-paced evolving and highly collaborative environment. Responsibilities
- Serve as anoperational point of contact for the Legal Department routing internal and external inquiries and ensuringtimelyfollow-up and resolution.
- Maintain and continuously improve Legal Department systems including SharePoint sites ensuring information isaccurate secure organized and easily retrievable.
- Support the administration and optimization of legal technology tools tracking usageidentifyingprocess improvements andassistingwith system updates and enhancements.
- Assistin developing documenting andmaintainingstandard operating procedures workflows and internal guidance materials to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Support contract lifecycle management processes including trackingintakecoordination document routing andmaintainingorganized records of agreements.
- Lead certain aspects of subsidiary entity management such as annual reports andthe accuracyof the CSC database.
- Coordinate Legal Department initiatives and activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional requests from business partners ensuringaccuratetracking documentation andtimelycommunication with stakeholders.
- Assistwith invoice review.
- Draft edit and format internal communications reports presentations and other operational materials.
- Assistwith special projects including new business line integration and other strategic departmental priorities.
- Develop a working knowledge of all aspects of licensure / enrollment and develop the skills to support those roles from time to time.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvementidentifyingopportunities to streamlineprocessesand enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimumthreeyears of office experiencerequiredpreferably in a legal settingand at an executive level;priorpublic company experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of technology including Microsoft Office suite and standard office equipment (copier scanner etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritieswith minimal supervision
- Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the company including senior leadership
- Ability tomaintainconfidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Travel up to 10%
