About the Role:
The Sr. Director Product Marketing of Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and market leadership by orchestrating strategy across product marketing account-based marketing sales enablement brand development and customer advocacy. This leader defines positioning messaging and go-to-market strategies that differentiate our offerings in competitive enterprise markets while building the demand generation engine digital experiences and thought leadership programs that accelerate pipeline and support complex sales cycles.
Working at the intersection of product sales and customer success the Marketing Director translates complex capabilities into compelling value propositions equips sales teams to win and cultivates partner and referral networks that expand market reach. This role owns the entire customer journey from acquisition through expansion managing brand presence across digital and physical channels orchestrating enterprise events and building community engagement that drives retention and advocacy.
Ultimately this leader will build and scale a high-performing marketing organization that delivers measurable revenue impact while establishing our brand as a trusted authority in the market.

Marketing Strategy & Leadership
Own strategic vision for marketing aligning with revenue goals and business objectives
Drive overall go-to-market strategy and market positioning
Define ideal customer profiles and target account criteria
Own marketing budget and P&L accountability
Partner with product leadership to inform roadmap decisions based on market insights competitive intelligence and customer feedback
Establish data-driven decision-making frameworks across marketing organization
Track performance metrics and KPIs adapting plans to meet business targets
Own marketing technology stack strategy and optimization
Product Marketing
Own the strategic vision and execution of product marketing translating complex product capabilities into compelling value propositions
Develop positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate offerings in competitive markets
Lead major product launches from conception through execution ensuring cross-functional alignment
Develop pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with product and revenue teams
Build customer proof points case studies and ROI frameworks for enterprise buyers
Translate technical features into customer-centric benefits through deep understanding of buyer psychology and the product lifecycle
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
Create competitive battlecards and win/loss analysis programs
ABM & Revenue Marketing
Oversee account-based marketing strategy for high-value enterprise targets
Align with sales on account selection penetration strategies and buying committee engagement
Drive pipeline creation and revenue attribution in partnership with sales
Own marketing-sourced pipeline velocity metrics and customer acquisition cost (CAC)
Orchestrate personalized campaigns across multiple stakeholders within target accounts
Manage marketing funnel optimization from awareness to conversion
Build account intelligence and intent data programs to prioritize outreach
Develop marketing automation capability nurturing 25K prospect database
Enterprise Sales Enablement
Create comprehensive sales enablement programs that equip teams to win in enterprise sales cycles
Develop sales tools playbooks and training that accelerate deal velocity
Build objection handling frameworks and competitive positioning for sales conversations
Establish feedback loops with sales to continuously improve enablement effectiveness
Create demo narratives and discovery question frameworks
Develop sales content library and asset management system
Brand & Digital Experience
Direct customer experiences across all digital channels (website social media paid media)
Own website strategy user experience and conversion optimization
Manage paid media campaigns generating 10K media leads annually
Develop content marketing engine that educates market and builds authority
Establish thought leadership through strategic content events and analyst relations
Manage PR analyst relations (Gartner Forrester) and industry awards programs
Create executive visibility programs (speaking bylines podcasts)
Oversee content strategy distribution and influencer engagement programs
Direct physical event experiences (such as ATD) that build brand presence
Build brand equity and market presence that supports enterprise credibility
Customer Marketing & Advocacy
Drive customer expansion marketing campaigns targeting existing customer base
Build customer community engagement user groups and advocacy initiatives
Develop customer reference programs testimonials and case study pipelines
Create upsell/cross-sell marketing campaigns in partnership with Sales/CS
Establish customer feedback loops that inform product and go-to-market strategy
Partner & Influencer Enablement
Develop co-marketing campaigns and joint value propositions with strategic partners
Cultivate influencer relationships and engagement programs to amplify brand reach
Create partner portal resources and training materials
Key Skills & Qualifications
Track record of building and scaling marketing in B2B SaaS environments
Strong communication strategic thinking and analytical skills
Deep understanding of marketing principles buyer psychology and the product lifecycle
Experience with enterprise sales cycles and complex buying committees
SaaS experience and ability to translate technical features into customer-centric benefits
Experience with market research competitive analysis and data-driven decision-making
Proficiency with marketing technology stack (CRM MAP ABM platforms analytics)
Understanding of SaaS metrics: CAC LTV payback period pipeline coverage

The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
