Our best Nigh Auditor is someone who has:
- Interest and ability to work exclusively night shifts.
- Previous experience working in a hotel is an advantage;
- Very good conversational English skills a second foreign language is an advantage;
- Very good computer skills; knowledge of a hotel management system is an advantage (Opera);
- Customer orientation problem solving and decision making skills;
- Warm friendly personality;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Team spirit.
As a Night Auditor you will:
- Accurately check mailings and documents processed during the day at the front desk.
- Record store access and/or analyze computerized financial information.
- Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for the hotel in accordance with cash management policy and procedures.
- Organize and secure all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Prepare and distribute statistical financial accounting or audit reports and tables. Audit and reconcile all revenue records.
- Process in the computer system all guest arrivals confirming reservations allocating rooms issuing and activating room access cards;
- Process all payment types such as recorded room payments cash debit or credit;
- Process all check-outs and resolve any disputes related to payment amounts;
- Answer record and process all guest calls messages requests inquiries or concerns;
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping department to follow up the preparation of rooms for guest accommodation;
- Provide guests with instructions and information regarding the hotel and local areas of interest;
- Comply with tax and accounting rules regarding the collection and recording of income;
