Packing pickles.Ensure quality product is produced and continual improvement.

This position also has accountability for Q-RMP standards asoutlinedin the Claussen Woodstock Accountability Document.

Essential Functions &Responsibilities:

Packs quality jars of Claussen product at the Standard Pack Rate and/or line rates using theaccuratepack method. Packing Whole Pickle Icicle Mini Dills Sandwich Slices Super Slices Chips and Spears in20 oz. jars24 ozjars32 ozjars750 mljars Five Gallon Pails64 ozjarsand80 ozjars.

Understands product specifications andadvisesSupervisor of Pickle Quality Problems.

Serves as the final inspection of cucumbers to be packed.

Inspectsglass and plastic jars for defects.

When production down time occursstacks ofjarson carts or skids.

Reworks pallets ofproductsplaced on hold byProduction/Quality Assurance Department sortingre workablejars correcting thedefectand returning them to the production line.

The following duties may be performed when instructed by a supervisor:

Make-up knocked down boxes spicing adding or removing empty jars to/from the line adding boxes to the conveyor top cutting of halves product when required jar inspections for various reasons (leakers floaters and other packaging defects) feed pickles into the Spear or Auto packaging machines topping off jars of Chips or Whole Pickle putting labels/bands on

Gallon line jarsinsertingcoupons into jars when.

May beto collectrecordsand analyzespecific processes. Responsible for completing HACCP and process checks as.

Advises the Supervisor/mechanical Department of mechanical or safety problems that arise within their work area.You must follow all safety and GMP rules.

May also performadditionalmiscellaneous duties as advised by the Supervisor. May perform the job of Production Grader.

Required to enteraccumulateand evaluate data used in the HMI OEE terminals. This may require workinginteams to help improve production processes.

Expected Experience & Required Skills:

Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP): Anything beyond short demonstration up to and including 1 month

Mental Requirements (MR): Simple Reading stooping simple math simple tasks coordinating analyzing supervising instructingfollowinginstructions time requirement problem solving independent judgment decision making.

Work Environment & Schedule:

This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment.Overtime and weekend workareas dictated by business needs. You maybe requiredto switchschedulesor shifts as the need arises. Must wearthe followingPPE (Personal Protective Equipment): bump cap/hard hat safety glasses slip resistant shoes ear plugs.

Frequent standing and walkingare.
