Job Title: Nurse Manager Behavioral Health RN
Location: Aventura FL
Schedule: Full-Time Days (No Weekends)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to lead a 53-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit. This leadership role provides 24/7 operational oversight of a multidisciplinary department consisting of 108 FTEs (RNs Behavioral Health Technicians and Clinical Nurse Coordinators).

Salary Range: $38.52/hr $55.26/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and provide 24/7 leadership for the Behavioral Health unit
Manage staffing scheduling productivity and workflow
Participate in hiring performance management and staff development
Drive quality improvement fiscal accountability and patient satisfaction initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Collaborate with physicians hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain operational efficiency and regulatory readiness
Mentor and develop nursing and support staff

Qualifications

Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (meeting FL requirements)
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)
BLS & ACLS certifications (within 30 days of hire)
CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) certification within 90 days
Minimum 3 years of inpatient Behavioral Health RN experience in acute care
Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in acute care (Charge RN ANM Supervisor etc.)
Strong clinical background in inpatient psychiatry (35 years preferred)
