Job Description

Collaborate closely with the offshore engineering team ensuring clear technical communication timely guidance and smooth execution of deliverables.
Manage discussions with French Technical Coordinators.
Lead and support the structural design and development of primary aerospace components such as Frame/Beam/Skin/Stringer etc.. and secondary components such as loaded & unloaded brackets/clips/fittings etc.. in accordance with Airbus processes methods and standards.
Solid understanding of aerospace design principles airworthiness constraints and manufacturing processes.
Review and validate design outputs such as 3D models 2D drawings and Bill Of Material to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Provide technical expertise on structures materials stress sizing manufacturing considerations and certification constraints.
Providing support to other general design activities e.g. Process improvements cost reduction etc.
Drive issue resolution by interfacing with cross functional teams (stress manufacturing quality configuration management etc.).
Ensure adherence to Airbus DMU PLM and configuration control processes.
Prepare and deliver design reviews (Maturity phases PDR CDR DFM).
Manage engineering data documentation and deliverables in compliance with quality and configuration requirements.
Support digital continuity initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in design and communication processes.



Qualifications & Experience
Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
Knowledge of metallic and composite design principles.
Knowledge of Airbus processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP SIDP AP ABD AIPI AIPS etc..).
Experience of using Airbus Supply (DocMaster Airnavx etc.).
Airbus Design Signatory experience (Checker/approver).
Valid Airbus training certificates in VPM and PASS SSI.
Experience in DMU reviews Interface Point Management and multi partner environments.
Knowledge of DQN and RDR.
Bi-lingual (French and English).

BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering)
5-10 years of hands on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.
Proven experience working on Airbus aircraft programs (A320 A330 A350 A380 etc.).
