As one of only a few national law firms with a head office in Brisbane a rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing professional to work closely and directly with a newly appointed Head of BD & Marketing and a growing team to drive marketing and communications projects and initiatives.

We are seeking an executive level marketing professional with a passion for communications who has a proactive approach and a curiosity for what entices clients to choose McInnes Wilson.

Working within a growing marketing and business development team this role will use a broad spectrum of marketing skills including brand communications graphic design and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers both autonomy and the ability to work closely with the team to support and drive national projects that create value across the firm.

This role involves:

  • Paid campaigns: Plan build and manage Google Ads and Facebook remarketing campaigns including keyword research audience targeting ad creation and optimisation to improve lead generation and cost efficiency.
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Conduct keyword research optimise website and blog content and work to enhance the firms search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Conversion and performance optimisation: Monitor campaign analytics identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase conversion rates and marketing ROI.
  • Marketing automation & CRM: Use systems such as HubSpot to manage campaigns track engagement and support client nurturing workflows.
  • Website management: Maintain and update website content through WordPress ensuring pages are current compliant with brand standards and optimised for search.
  • Analytics and reporting: Regularly report on marketing performance using Google Analytics Search Console and CRM dashboards providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design and brand support: Create digital marketing materials using Canva and coordinate other creative production where required ensuring consistency with the firms visual identity.
  • Organic social media: Manage and grow the firms presence across Instagram LinkedIn and Facebook content planning.

About You

We are seeking someone with demonstrable experience in a similar role within the legal industry or a comparable professional services environment.

Attractive candidates will have:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a digital marketing role focused on campaign management optimisation and performance reporting
  • Experience marketing to B2B (corporate) and/or B2C (private) clients.
  • Experience creating and managing content and campaigns relevant to different stakeholders.
  • A creative eye and very high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable technical experience:

  • WordPress Google Ads Facebook Ads Manager Google Analytics Search Console hands-on experience expected.
  • HubSpot (or similar CRM/automation platform) campaign management lead tracking and reporting.
  • Canva essential for creating marketing materials and digital assets.
  • Microsoft Office Suite advanced proficiency in Word PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Premiere Pro) advantageous but not essential.
