Location: St. Josephs Medical Center Stockton CA
8-room main OR cath lab endo
355-bed regional medical center (CommonSpirit Hospital System)
The Anesthesiology department is diverse consisting of 14 physicians over 30 independent-practice CRNAs and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily to include acute care ORs cardiac ORs obstetrics GI/endocathlab interventional radiology a hospital ambulatory surgery center and a new venture with a local orthopedics surgery center.
The annual anesthesia case volume is approx. 14300 cases consisting of 9000 surgical cases 800 cardiac cases and 2000 out-of-OR cases in GI EP lab/Cath Lab and interventional radiology.
OB services with 3000 births annually
Participation in call is expected (24 hours in-house 24 hours OB) - Must be within 30 minutes of the facility.
CRNAs practice to their full scope of practice and perform regional anesthesia arterial lines and centrallines
8- or 12-hourshiftsand call shifts are available with scheduling flexibility to match your lifestyle.
Post-call day off after first call
Collaborative MD/CRNA model

Locations:

St. Josephs Surgery Center:5-roomOR (general GYN urology pain procedures healthy peds dental and ENT endo)
St. Josephs Medical Center:8-room main OR (cathlab endo)

This is a unique practice where CRNAs and MDs work independently in an academic environment with an anesthesiology residency program.

Who Were Looking For:

We are looking for motivated CRNAs desiring to practice independently with a supportive group of CRNAs and MDs.
Experience is preferred but motivated new graduates have been very successful in our practice and will be considered.

Qualifications:

Active state RN and CRNA licenses
Board certification required
ACLS PALS BLS

Residency subspecialty training currently available at St. Josephs includes cardiac obstetrics critical care acute and chronic pain and pediatrics.
