Job Summary
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field required. 2-3 years of experience supporting financial or accounting functions preferably in higher education healthcare or public/nonprofit organizations. Knowledge of accounting principles and their application to budget and accounting analysis. Must have above-average organizational skills and attention to detail excellent interpersonal and communication skills and must demonstrate a high degree of judgement discretion and confidentiality. Must have the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and manage projects in a busy environment and approach challenges with creativity and innovation. Must have extensive computing experience and proficiency with MS Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of automated financial systems (preferably Ellucian Banner).
