Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in creating a safe structured and engaging classroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and helping them grow socially emotionally and academically.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
Support children during play learning centers meals and transitions
Encourage positive behavior and social interaction
Help prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom
Supervise children to ensure safety at all times
Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety procedures
Communicate respectfully with staff and families
Qualifications
Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Passion for early childhood education
Patient caring and energetic personality
Strong teamwork and communication skills
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare requirements

Schedule: MondayFriday (hours provided upon hiring)
