Check out our available opportunity below. Job description: Pouch Filler Operator Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Must be able to operate the Pouch Filler lines 8 and 10. 2. Will do periodic weighing of pouches. 3. Must be able to monitor proper temperature and controls on filler and chiller. 4. Must be able to monitor transfer functions. 5. Must be able to change rolls of film and rethread machine as needed. 6. Issue pouches to orders using assistics. 7. Operate the efficiency system. (data entry) 8. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting communicating and helping co-workers. 9. When carts are filled the pouch filler operator is responsible for reassigning labor to loading area or other area as needed. 10. Complete daily documentation accurately. Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager. Skills and Abilities: 1. Attentive and alert to all moving parts 2. Conscious minded of the quality of clean-up of machinery 3. Capable of learning how to do minor jam-ups Physical Requirements: Body Movements the amount of time spent performing each physical requirement: ï Occasional 1/3 or less ï Frequent 1/3 to 2/3 ï Continuous 2/3 or more Standing: Frequent to Continuous Walking: Frequent to Continuous Sitting: Minimal Lifting: Occasional to frequent (Medium duty position / ability to lift 50lbs) Carrying: Occasional Climbing: Minimal Climbing Stairs: Minimal Climbing ladders: Occasional Crawling: Minimal Working in kneeling position: NA Working with arms extended at shoulder level or above: Frequent to Continuous Twisting and Turning: Frequent to continuous Reaching: Occasional to Frequent Bending: Occasional to frequent Driving: Occasional Pushing and Pulling: Occasional Hand Movement: Manual dexterity ï Simple grasping: frequent ï Fine manipulation: NA Operating Equipment: Position Requirements: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification. Job Type: Full-time Schedule:3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00AM 8-hour shift may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed. PleaseNote: If hired you will need to train on 1st shift (7am-3pm) for up to 2 weeks with a trainer.
