Position: Superintendent roles in 3 locations - Spencer IA Ames IA and Iowa City IA
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable goal-driven Construction Superintendent to immediately fill an open position in Spencer Iowa. The Superintendent will provide on-site leadership and management for commercial construction projects ensuring all work is completed safely on schedule and within budget. This role requires hands-on construction experience and the ability to oversee all phases of the project lifecycle.
This is a direct-hire position.
Provide day-to-day on-site management and supervision of commercial construction projects
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors labor crews materials and equipment
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans specifications and quality standards
Enforce jobsite safety policies and maintain compliance with all safety regulations
Monitor project schedules and budgets identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Earthwork and grading
- Mixing pouring and finishing concrete
- Layout and framing of structures
- Installation of subfloors walls and ceilings
- Steel and precast erection
- Metal stud framing and carpentry
- Welding and signaling equipment operators
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Superintendent
5 years of experience as a Superintendent or lead role on commercial construction projects
- Steel and precast erection
- Metal stud framing and carpentry
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Reliable self-motivated and results-oriented work ethic
