Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
Assist with vendor set up purchase order entry and maintenance while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all documentation. Monitor product selling performance and identify reorder opportunities to maintain optimal inventory levels. Resolve SIMs (Supplier Information Management) issues and process RTVs (Return to Vendor) entries efficiently.
Generate and analyze reports for the Buying team to support data-driven decision making. Build and maintain professional relationships with key vendors through effective communication and follow-through. Apply retail math skills to perform business analyses that support buying decisions and inventory optimization.
A day in the life
Our day begins by reviewing sales reports to identify top-selling items and potential reorder opportunities. Youll collaborate with buyers to enter and maintain purchase orders ensuring our inventory meets customer demand. Throughout the day youll resolve vendor issues through the SIM system process necessary RTVs and generate customized reports that provide valuable insights for the buying team. Youll communicate professionally with external partners ensuring all vendor relationships are maintained with the highest standards.

- Currently working towards a bachelors degree in retail merchandising or related field with an expected conferral date between December 2026 and May 2027
- Work internship or other leadership experience in a professional environment
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel Word) and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Familiarity with and interest in fashion trends designers and ecommerce
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
