The Opportunity

Our client a strategic B2B corporate communications agency is seeking a commercially minded Head of Growth to lead new business acquisition client expansion and revenue strategy across the UK EMEA and global markets. This senior leadership role blends strategic oversight with hands-on business development requiring someone who can engage credibly with C-Suite stakeholders and articulate the value of brand communications and marketing solutions. The Head of Growth will drive pipeline strengthen client relationships and raise the agencys profile in the B2B marketing space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the RFP tender and pitch response process ensuring responses are insight-led strategically sharp and aligned with the agencys brand heritage.
  • Develop and execute outbound growth programs targeting B2B clients across technology industrial financial and professional services sectors.
  • Oversee inbound lead management ensuring timely qualification nurturing and conversion in line with commercial goals.
  • Work with the Strategy team to build market intelligence on competitor offerings market shifts and emerging client needs.
  • Identify opportunities across existing client relationships including brand strategy messaging content development media and integrated brand-to-demand programs.
  • Mentor and coach teams to lead commercial conversations spot growth opportunities and increase account value.
  • Support the adoption of structured client growth frameworks including Voice of the CMO initiatives playbook development and QBR processes.
  • Lead and develop the Growth function covering business development sales operations and marketing.
  • Partner with Client Services and Strategy teams in consultative selling commercial thinking and opportunity shaping.
  • Foster internal alignment across agency functions to ensure a unified approach to growth.
  • Represent the agency at events speaking forums roundtables and thought leadership platforms.
  • Support content and thought-leadership initiatives on topics such as Connected Buying Experiences ABM and B2B marketing trends.
  • Work with the Managing Director to evolve the agencys value proposition service lines and pricing models.
  • Own new business and client expansion revenue targets ensuring predictable pipeline growth and conversion.
  • Monitor performance and commercial efficiency through pipeline forecasting models dashboards and reporting structures.

What Were Looking For

  • 15 years of experience in B2B marketing with significant agency-side experience.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-Suite and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong record of winning pitches shaping proposals and leading complex RFP responses.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound sales programs and structured business development motions.
  • Experience mentoring teams to build commercial confidence and client-growth capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills capable of articulating complex ideas with clarity.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B communications landscape including brand strategy messaging content creative media and integrated marketing.
  • Experience managing global enterprise clients and multi-market programs.
  • Knowledge of ABM brand-to-demand strategy and corporate reputation communications.
  • Understanding of sustainability/ESG storytelling and change communications.
  • Background in agency growth leadership or consultancy transformation.
