JOB DESCRIPTION
The Successful candidate will be required to order parts as per technicians requests for the purpose of repairing vehicles and/or getting them ready for retail sale. Parts will be ordered by contacting parts providers directly both by phone and online. Experience in ordering parts A HUGE PLUS.Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Order parts/products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customers needs.
Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
Record all purchases sales and/or customer transactions that occur.
Provide service technicians with parts as required.
Assist theParts Manager in merchandising displays if and when required
Maintainthe retail salesfloor displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and todays customer satisfaction.
Controls showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
When working the parts counter followprescribed cash credit and check processing procedures of the dealership.
Processes cores warranties and new return merchandise as required at a point of sale.
Attendtraining as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in the job.
Usedealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
Performother tasks as required by Parts Manger.
Verify receiving documents.
Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
