Position Overview
The Expert EV Auto Mechanic will be responsible for conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) diagnosing technical issues performing high-quality repairs and ensuring all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards before delivery to customers. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in electric vehicle systems including high-voltage batteries drivetrains and advanced diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
Perform comprehensive PDI checks on new and pre-owned EVs.
Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Conduct software updates and system calibrations.
Prepare vehicles to showroom and customer-ready standards.
EV Diagnostics & Repairs
Diagnose and repair high-voltage battery systems inverters and electric drivetrains.
Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
Perform mechanical repairs suspension work brake systems and HVAC systems.
Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
Technical Expertise & Compliance
Follow strict high-voltage safety procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV technology advancements.
Document all repairs and service activities accurately.
Support junior technicians with technical guidance when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as an EV Auto Mechanic (minimum 35 years preferred).
Strong expertise in high-voltage systems and EV diagnostics.
Certified in high-voltage safety (NEN 9140 or equivalent preferred).
Experience with PDI processes and manufacturer standards.
Ability to use advanced diagnostic software and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driving license (Category B).
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
