WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Team Member supports daily assembly operations within the general assembly department. This role is responsible for following standard work producing high-quality components ensuring safety and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Production Duties:
- Perform assembly tasks on automotive Trim Chassis or Final Line following standard operating procedures.
- Meet daily production targets with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Communicate issues or abnormalities promptly to Team Leaders.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety standards OSHA regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Participate in safety audits wear required PPE and report unsafe conditions.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with fellow Team Members and Team Leaders.
- Support a positive work environment built on teamwork accountability and respect.
Quality Responsibilities
- Ensure components meet quality specifications.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformances.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in 5S Kaizen and other improvement initiatives.
- Suggest opportunities to reduce waste and improve workflow.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive or manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and production environments.
