Multi-specialty clinic including Primary Care Pediatrics Gastroenterology Rheumatology and more
Established practice with over 30 years of experience

What Youll Do

Evaluate diagnose and treat a broad range of pediatric medical conditions including chronic illnesses such as diabetes hypertension COPD and heart disease.
Round in nursery and attend growth-focused marketing events for clinics.
Conduct routine and preventive care visits screenings and wellness checks to promote long-term health and early detection of disease.
Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab work.
Develop evidence-based personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
Manage a continuity panel of pediatric patients ensuring appropriate follow-up and long-term care.
Document patient encounters diagnoses and treatment plans accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Coordinate care with specialists behavioral health professionals and other providers as needed.
Participate in quality improvement efforts and initiatives tied to clinical performance metrics and value-based care goals.
Deliver culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate care tailored to Houstons diverse community.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Successful completion of pediatric residency program
Board eligible/Board certified
Unrestricted and active California Physician License
Current BLS ACLS CA DEA certification prior to start date

Experience working in a collaborative setting to ensure positive patient health outcomes
Interest in working with Medicare patients
Knowledge of Value-Based Healthcare model
Proficiency in Mandarin Cantonese Spanish or Korean

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

This position is located at 328 S. 1st Street Alhambra CA 91801. Cross-coverage to other AMG locations may be required as needed and per business need.
This is a full-time position.
The national target pay range for this role is $285000-$350000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future) experience and other job-related factors.
This position offers a sign-on bonus.
Astrana employees who refer additional physicians to our practices will be eligible to receive a $3000 bonus per physician hired OR $3500 bonus per bilingual physician hired!
