- Multi-specialty clinic including Primary Care Pediatrics Gastroenterology Rheumatology and more
- Established practice with over 30 years of experience
What Youll Do
- Evaluate diagnose and treat a broad range of pediatric medical conditions including chronic illnesses such as diabetes hypertension COPD and heart disease.
- Round in nursery and attend growth-focused marketing events for clinics.
- Conduct routine and preventive care visits screenings and wellness checks to promote long-term health and early detection of disease.
- Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab work.
- Develop evidence-based personalized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Manage a continuity panel of pediatric patients ensuring appropriate follow-up and long-term care.
- Document patient encounters diagnoses and treatment plans accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate care with specialists behavioral health professionals and other providers as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and initiatives tied to clinical performance metrics and value-based care goals.
- Deliver culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate care tailored to Houstons diverse community.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of pediatric residency program
- Board eligible/Board certified
- Unrestricted and active California Physician License
- Current BLS ACLS CA DEA certification prior to start date

- Interest in working with Medicare patients
- Knowledge of Value-Based Healthcare model
- Proficiency in Mandarin Cantonese Spanish or Korean
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position is located at 328 S. 1st Street Alhambra CA 91801. Cross-coverage to other AMG locations may be required as needed and per business need.
- This is a full-time position.
- The national target pay range for this role is $285000-$350000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future) experience and other job-related factors.
- This position offers a sign-on bonus.
- Astrana employees who refer additional physicians to our practices will be eligible to receive a $3000 bonus per physician hired OR $3500 bonus per bilingual physician hired!
