Role
: Cleaning Supervisor
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (5am - 1pm)
Location
: Grain Power Station Power Station Road Isle of Grain Rochester ME3 0AR
(Please note this is a remote location with no public transport accessyour own transport would be required. Free parking and subsidised on-site catering facilities are provided.)

PURPOSE

Collaborate with JLL FM Delivery Manager to ensure site specification compliance and delivery standards

Provide cleaning coverage during staff absences vacancies and annual leave periods

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management

Ensure proper Time Gate usage by all team members during each shift

Manage cleaning team operations including staff oversight training and supervision

Complete weekly pay sheets and 4-weekly staff rotas

Ensure all daily shifts are adequately covered and completed on schedule

Lead the cleaning team to foster a supportive work environment

Training and Development

Deliver comprehensive training to site team members

Maintain detailed training records for new staff and existing staff requiring retraining

Identify and communicate training needs for new or existing staff to line manager

Health Safety and Compliance

Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety procedures and corporate standards

Apply COSHH regulations effectively across all operations

Report accidents and incidents through proper channels immediately

Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations

Equipment and Materials Management

Ensure equipment and materials are adequate and properly maintained for cleaning duties

Maintain appropriate levels of effective cleaning chemicals on site

Monitor and maintain company image through proper dress standards equipment care sensible footwear PPE usage machinery maintenance and professional staff conduct

Operations and Client Service

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of service specifications

Communicate effectively and adhere to established cleaning programmes

Address client requests within agreed timeframes

Take immediate remedial action when necessary

Keep operatives motivated and informed about company initiatives that affect them

Policy Implementation

Implement company policies consistently

Follow divisional directives

Maintain ISO 9002 compliance

Adhere to Training Policy requirements
