We are currently seeking aSenior Principal Traction Power Engineer to join our office in Philadelphia Pa or New York NY.

Position Summary:

Performs technical oversight of all engineering projects within a specific specialization or market sector withhigh levelsof complexity and importance to the Company. Formulates and guides the attempt to solve problems consisting ofa high levelof difficulty and marked importance to the organization. Maybe responsible forthe developmentof a niche technical service. Is aware of the Companys goals and uses this knowledge toidentifyways to advance the Companys ability to produce successful projects.âPrimaryfocus is on high-profile clients or projects

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate project work with all engineering staff and consultants.ââ
• Contribute to standard detail andspecificationdevelopment and updates.ââ
• Determines creative and innovative methods and solutions for highly complex engineering problems and selects the most efficient and economical manner in meeting the objectives.âââ
• Applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses.âââ
• Utilize thorough knowledge of current technology to select and applyappropriate engineeringsoftware for use on projectsâââ
• Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.âââ
• Establish andmaintaincooperative and productive relationships with all employeesclientsand other stakeholders.âââ
• Assist in recruiting retaining and developing top industry talent.ââ
• Quality control through project review at various stages throughout project design.ââââ
• Provides subject matterexpertiseto company clients on technical issues.ââ
• Representsfirmat technical conferences.ââ
• Representsfirmat client meetings.ââ
• Assistsin the performance management process by providing feedback to the Project Manager for performance evaluations.ââ
• Works with the Project Manager todeterminetechnical staffing needs for the group.ââ
• Assures financial and technical project success and maintains a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years applicable design experience in the consulting engineering and/or construction projects.

Education & Certification

• Bachelors degree (B.S.) from four-year college/university
• PE and/or MRSE licensure or certification
