DescriptionSt. Johns School is seeking an Admission Administrative Admission Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing clerical administrative event planning and project support for Admission activities.
Education and Experience:
- Requires a College Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant preferably in an academic setting.
- This position requires a motivated energetic creative organized empathetic and comfortable team worker.
- Requires the ability to commit to excellent attendance.
- Ability to set priorities meet deadlines and multitask.
- Ability to work with a wide range of individuals and to interact cheerfully andprofessionally.
- Must have impeccable oral and written communication meticulous attention to detail effective interpersonal skills including diplomacy poise and tact and the ability to see what needs to be done and take theinitiative in doing it.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Google Docs familiarity with database functionality and ease in learning to use other software and online resources. Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
- Must have excellent people skills with an ability to work effectively and productively with parents and applicants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support for the Department as directed.
- Schedules interviews and parent meetings for applicants and their families.
- Maintains the Admission Calendar in Google Calendar.
- Manages the front desk of the Admission Office and warmly greets our guests.
- Assists as needed with Lower School and ISEE testing.
- Plans and executes Open House Fine Arts and Athletic Previews and Accepted Student events.
- Works closely with the Communications Department on various print materials.
- Will help all members in the department as needed with various administrative tasks.
- Orders office supplies and manages room reservations for the Campus Center.
- Must maintain a professional relationship with colleagues students parents and community members.
- Position requires some evening and weekend work.
