DescriptionThe Banquet Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating securing and coordinating banquet and event business.
Responsibilities- Respond to banquet and event inquiries in a timely manner
- Conduct tours of event spaces and provide detailed event information
- Prepare proposals contracts and event orders (BEOs) according to company standards
- Book and confirm banquet event assuring all client needs are clearly communicated
- Maintain accurate records of bookings deposits client communications and final payments
- Coordinate with Banquet Manager and Banquet Chef to ensure all event details are executed
- Upsell servicessuch as menu upgrades bar packages décor and add on experiences
- Support marketing initiatives to grow banquet business including outreach and follow-up
- Attend BEO meetings or operations meetings
- Maintain excellent customer service and follow up after each event to build repeat business
