Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder / Fabricator to join a growing fabrication team in East Tulsa. This Structural Welder / Fabricator role requires the ability to read prints fabricate independently from start to finish and adapt quickly when fabrication challenges arise. The position plays a key role in the production of meter houses and structural steel components.

What the Structural Welder / Fabricator Will Be Doing

Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Layout cut prep fit and weld materials independently
Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel
Pass and perform 3G plate welding on ¾ plate (no run-off tabs)
Fabricate and weld steel siding / R-Panel for meter houses
Make real-time fabrication adjustments as required
Maintain quality accuracy and safety standards at all times

Required Qualifications for the Structural Welder / Fabricator

2 years of welding experience required
Proven experience in structural welding and fabrication
Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
Knowledge of steel fabrication processes
Experience working with pipe materials wall thicknesses and grading systems
Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the job
Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Valid drivers license required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in oil & gas or industrial construction environments
Prior experience fabricating meter houses or R-Panel (training available for motivated candidates)
