Job Summary

Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Novi MI 48374

Duration: 13 Weeks with (potential extension to long term)

Shift: Mon Fri Standard Day Shift 40/hrs weekly

Position Overview:

The MA will assist physicians with patient care perform clinical and clerical duties and maintain smooth daily clinic operations. Candidate must be comfortable working independently in a professional outpatient/internal medicine setting.

Job Description:

Assist physician with patient examinations and treatments
Take and record vital signs
Document patient information accurately (Epic preferred)
Prepare and clean exam rooms
Perform basic clinical procedures as directed
Answer phones and assist with scheduling or front desk support as needed
Order and stock medical supplies
Maintain organized and clean work environment
Follow Standard Precautions and PPE guidelines
Ensure HIPAA compliance

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year recent Medical Assistant experience
BLS Certification REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong patient communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable in Internal Medicine / Primary Care setting
