Job Title: Technical Migration Lead
Duration: 12 months
Location: Onsite (Palm Beach FL)
4 days per week onsite (in-office requirement)
Rate: $70-75/hr on W2
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong technical acumen to lead the discovery planning and coordination of business application migrations from the current cloud environment to a new enterprise cloud platform.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders vendors development teams operations teams infrastructure groups IT and OT environments to ensure applications development platforms and supporting systems are successfully migrated integrated and validated.
The ideal candidate will combine business analysis expertise cloud technologies knowledge networking configuration experience and DevOps process understanding while maintaining strong communication and coordination across multiple organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive inventory of business-supported applications and IT assets requiring migration to the new cloud platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders vendors digital platform teams and infrastructure groups to gather technical and functional requirements.
- Document network connectivity requirements including:
- Port configurations
- TCP/UDP protocols
- Firewall rules
- System dependencies
- Support for cloud-to-cloud migrations (AWS-to-AWS Azure-to-Azure)
- Integration with on-premises systems and end-user equipment
- Coordinate with legacy vendors and factory/operations teams to collect required migration data manage incomplete information scenarios and support testing validation.
- Partner with development teams to migrate DevOps workflows pipelines and tooling into the new cloud and network environment ensuring:
- Development platforms remain fully functional
- Successful code compilation and deployment
- Support migration of complex development platforms consisting of multiple integrated components.
- Maintain inventory tracking of business-owned IT components including:
- Hardware
- Software
- Security-related elements
- Collaboration with OT teams and peripheral support groups
- Facilitate communication between:
- Cloud Engineering
- Security (ISRM)
- Networking Teams
- Business Teams
- Prepare and maintain:
- Business Requirements Documentation (BRD)
- Technical Requirements Documentation
- Status Reports
- Stakeholder Communications
- Support testing validation troubleshooting and remediation activities post-migration.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with:
- Virtual Machine to Cloud migrations
- Cloud-to-Cloud migrations
- Solid understanding of major cloud providers including:
- Ability to communicate technical cloud and infrastructure requirements to engineering and operations teams.
- Hands-on experience defining and configuring:
- Network connectivity
- Ports
- TCP/UDP protocols
- Firewall rules
- Integration points
- Experience working in DevOps environments including:
- Development pipelines
- Testing pipelines
- Deployment pipelines
- Experience in AWS and/or Azure environments
- Familiarity with complex vendor integrations across multiple sites and environments.
- Experience collaborating with:
- Operational Technology (OT) teams
- Infrastructure teams
- Enterprise IT environments
