About the Role:

We are a full-service law firm with deep expertise in litigation and provides high-quality legal services to public agencies private entities and individuals throughout California. Burke offers a collaborative environment where attorneys work alongside seasoned practitioners to deliver effective and strategic representation. We are seeking an associate with 1 2 years of experience to join the expanding Litigation team.

Key Responsibilities:

Excellent writing research and analytical skills.
Support partners and senior attorneys in all phases of civil litigation including case assessment discovery motion practice mediation and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on substantive legal issues.
Manage case deadlines and ensure timely filings and compliance with procedural rules.
Participate in client interviews witness preparation depositions mediations and trial preparation.
