Job Summary

Responsibilities

Solution Design: Lead the development of advanced Power BI dashboards reports and scorecards.
Data Modeling: Architect and optimize complex data models including DAX calculations and data warehouses.
ETL Development: Create and maintain robust ETL pipelines (e.g. SSIS Azure Data Factory) to ingest and cleanse data.
Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business requirements into technical specifications through close collaboration with users.
Performance Tuning: Optimize query performance (SQL) and troubleshoot BI application issues.
Governance & Standards: Define and promote industry best practices including data security row-level security and documentation.
Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and provide training on BI tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 10 years in Business Intelligence development.
Technical Tools: Proficiency in Power BI (Desktop Service) and/or Tableau SQL Server and SQL scripting (T-SQL).
Database Knowledge: Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts and ETL tools (SSIS Informatica Talend).
Advanced Analytics: Expertise in DAX Power Query and potentially Python for data manipulation.
Communication: Strong ability to explain technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
