Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Design and Development: Create and implement high-quality ABAP code and enhancements for SAP applications ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements.
Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration
Troubleshooting: Debug and troubleshoot ABAP programs to resolve complex issues utilizing tools like SAP Debugger and transaction codes.
Performance Optimization: Optimize existing ABAP programs for performance and scalability leveraging techniques such as buffering and parallel processing.
Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality
Triage/debug production issues (Data Code Performance Security etc.) identify root cause and corrective actions
Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Partner with DT team members and other colleagues to assess needs and recommend IT solutions
Develop new Pages/Reports/Interfaces
Develop new application enhancements
Write technical specifications
Document system changes
Provide on-call support when necessary
Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards
Train/Mentor less experienced resources
Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
For roles in USA:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science Technology Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 years

Experience working with an off-shore development team
High level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced setting
Involvement on multiple PeopleSoft or other major ERP implementations (full life cycle)
Involvement in multiple PeopleSoft application upgrades
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM version 9.1
People Tools 8.5 experience
