The role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will take real ownership of the projects recruitment processdriving fair capabilitybased hiring from end to end in a fast-paced project environment. Youll use contemporary tools targeted sourcing strategies and practical grounded advice to help hiring managers feel confident in their decisions and support external and internal candidates through the process. Building strong relationships with candidates managers and external partners will be central to how you create a smooth transparent and compliant recruitment experience across the project.

Youll also navigate the reality that each division works slightly differently and recruitment best practice is always evolving. That means staying adaptable using data to improve how things are done supporting managers to follow consistent and compliant processes are central to meeting this projects needs. Whether youre managing talent pools refining reporting jumping in to support an interview or coming up with new ways to improve our process for our stakeholders youll play a key role in making recruitment seamless and enjoyable.

What you will bring to the role

  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Capable of driving outcomes while effectively involving stakeholders throughout the process fostering collaboration and buyin.
  • Ability to confidently guide and empower hiring managers helping them navigate capabilitybased recruitment and make fair wellinformed decisions aligned with GSE requirements.
  • Strong analytical mindset using recruitment data reporting tools and insights to improve processes identify trends and support evidencebased recommendations.
  • Skilled in managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously maintaining accuracy transparency and compliance across highvolume endtoend campaigns.
  • Proactive relationshipbuilder able to network across government agencies external partners and internal teams to strengthen talent pipelines and promote the organisation as an employer of choice.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Sound experience in recruitment best practice including recruitment approaches marketing and social media initiatives and policies processes and legislative requirements.
  • A solid understanding of GSE rules is highly desirable.
