Lactalis Australiahome to some of Australias most iconic dairy brandsis seeking an enthusiastic and detailoriented International Supply Chain Intern on a contract for 12 months (Full-Time of Part-Time minimum 3 days/week) to join our International Supply Chain team.
This role is perfect for someone passionate about global trade logistics export compliance and endtoend supply chain operations. You will gain hands-on experience coordinating international shipments managing critical export documentation and partnering with stakeholders across Australia and worldwide.
About the RoleBased in our Scoresby office (3 days per week) you will support the coordination of global shipments of dairy products in line with Australian export requirements international regulations and customer expectations.
You will work closely with planners factories freight forwarders shipping lines and government agencies to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities- Process export orders and shipments in ERP systems (SAP and BSM).
- Coordinate sea freight and airfreight bookings with shipping lines airlines freight forwarders and warehouses.
- Liaise with production and demand planning to meet customer ETD/ETA requirements.
- Prepare and manage export documentation (EDN Health Certificates Certificates of Origin organic certifications etc.).
- Ensure full compliance with Australian export regulations and importingcountry requirements.
- Support international customers with timely communication and highquality service.
- Work crossfunctionally with Sales Finance Quality Marketing Regulatory Planning and Operations teams.
About YouYou will thrive in this role if you have:
Required
- Studying or a degree in Supply Chain International Trade Economics Logistics or similar.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- High attention to detail organisation and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Confidence working with systems and data.
Highly Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems ideally SAP or BSM.
- Understanding of international logistics export documentation or Incoterms.
