This position is responsible for designing building and operating systems to collect sensor data from production equipment and inspection data in an ultrasound probe manufacturing line by leveraging IoT and software technologies.
Working closely with manufacturing engineers and IT engineers both in Japan and overseas the role contributes to product quality improvement through the development and enhancement of data collection and analysis platforms.
In the future the role is expected to take a holistic view of manufacturing operations and lead process and quality improvements across the factory by utilizing software development and AI technologies.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

生産設備検査設備におけるIoTセンサーデバイスの選定検討からクラウドまでのデータ取得システムの構築運用
取得データの蓄積加工可視化基盤の整備および改善
製造技術部の品質担当エンジニアと連携し製品製造プロセスの知識を習得しながら課題を整理し解決策を検討実装
ネットワークファイアウォールクラウドを管理する海外ITチームとの協業英語によるメールチャット電話会議など
デジタル製造技術エンジニアとしてソフトウェアやAIを活用した製造ラインオペレーションおよび生産間接業務の改善

Design build and operate end-to-end data acquisition systemsfrom IoT and sensor device selection for production and inspection equipment to cloud-based data collection
Develop maintain and continuously improve platforms for data storage processing and visualization
Collaborate with quality engineers in the Manufacturing Engineering department to understand products and manufacturing processes identify issues and design and implement solutions
Work closely with overseas IT teams responsible for networks firewalls and cloud infrastructure (communication via English email chat and virtual meetings)
As a Digital Manufacturing Engineer drive improvements in manufacturing line operations and indirect production activities by leveraging software and AI technologies

Required Qualifications

IoTセンサーデータネットワークデータベース等に関する経験および基礎知識
製造現場の仕組みや機械設備に関する理解
要件定義を含むソフトウェア開発の実務経験PythonC#JavaScriptCSSPHP など
製造技術部門や現場担当者との日本語での円滑なコミュニケーション力
英語でのメールチャット会議における基本的なコミュニケーション力
自ら課題を整理し関係者を巻き込みながら改善を進める主体性

Experience and fundamental knowledge of IoT sensor data networks and databases
Understanding of manufacturing shop-floor operations and production equipment
Hands-on experience in software development including requirements definition (e.g. Python C# JavaScript CSS PHP etc.)
Strong communication skills in Japanese to work effectively with manufacturing engineering teams and shop-floor personnel
Basic communication skills in English for emails chats and meetings
Proactive mindset with the ability to independently organize issues and drive improvements while engaging relevant stakeholders

Experience in technical coordination or project leadership with overseas teams using English
Strong interest in new technology areasparticularly AIand a proactive attitude toward continuous learning
