Sign-On Bonus: $15000
Salary Range: $40.79 $61.19 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Manager Med-Surg to provide 24/7 leadership oversight for a busy acute care department. This leadership role is responsible for aligning departmental operations with organizational goals while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care staff development clinical excellence and financial stewardship.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Med-Surg RN with strong leadership capabilities. Experienced Nurse Managers are encouraged to apply as well as high-performing Charge Nurses (CNC) ready to transition into a management role.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily departmental operations including staffing scheduling payroll and performance evaluations

• Ensure efficient resource utilization and budget management

Staff Development & Coaching

• Lead hiring onboarding counseling and mentoring initiatives

• Promote professional growth and ensure ongoing competency validation

Strategic & Clinical Excellence

• Align department goals with organizational strategy

• Maintain high standards of patient safety quality care and regulatory compliance

Relationship Management

• Foster strong partnerships with physicians patients families and interdisciplinary teams

• Promote a collaborative and positive work culture

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

• Licensure: Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC) in good standing

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Med-Surg experience (Required)

  • Prior Nurse Manager/Department Director experience preferred

  • Strong Charge Nurse experience with leadership readiness will be considered
