Test Automation Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop review and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.

• Perform functional regression integration and system testing.

• Identify analyze and document defects using bug-tracking tools.

• Work closely with developers business analysts and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve defects.

• Participate in test automation initiatives including writing and maintaining automated test scripts (if applicable).

• Ensure test coverage consistency and alignment with project timelines.

• Provide clear and concise test results and reports to the project team.

• Contribute to continuous process improvements for testing practices and methodologies.
  
  

  Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.

• Experience in software testing QA processes or similar roles (fresh grads with relevant training may be considered).

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).

• Experience with automation tools (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright) is a plus.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
