FP&A Analyst IV

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting forecasting (net bookings revenue OI/fee and cash) and effectively managing financial risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with program team and across Sparton functions to define program goals establish budget and prepare and maintain EAC.
• Make recommendations to leadership for making business decisions
• Coordinate all aspects of annual planning and quarterly forecast processes including review of summary financials establishing timelines preparing presentations for management and oversight of submissions and commentary
• Plan and support long range financial plans that are consistent with both short-term and long-term corporate objectives
• Create robust internal reporting to provide necessary information to senior management and program stakeholders
• Provide management with timely accurate and insightful financial analysis to monitor financial results and enable strategic decision-making.
• Support ad-hoc cost reporting and performance analysis
• Develop and evaluate financial models assumptions for reasonableness and accuracy for data-based decisions and projections
• Assist in providing regular financial guidance to and interaction with other personnel and functions in order to improve operating results measure performance and promote compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Daily maintenance and management of Oracle Projects including deliverables budgets forecasts and Reporting results
• Coordinates and implements system and process changes for continuous improvement.

• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Accounting Business Finance or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting

• US Citizenship is required
• Proven experience as a Cost Analyst Cost Specialist or similar role
• Expert in data operational and financial analysis
• Knowledge of accounting processes and software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including; Word Excel Power Point Outlook and Teams
• Ability to work independently
• Must possess strong analytical skills and have a high attention to detail
• Proven troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability
