- The Emergency Department at Frye Regional offers:
- Board-certified emergency medicine physicians 32 patient rooms and 3 nurses stations
- Behavioral health treatment and referral including suicide threat and alcohol detox
- High quality standards for treatment of chest pain and stroke
- Sexual assault nurse examiners specially trained to provide compassionate care and collect forensic evidence
- Treatment of major and minor injuries and illnesses
- A helipad for patients with the most serious medical conditions to be airlifted directly to and from Frye Regionals Emergency Department
How youll contribute
- A Patient Sitter provides direct patient observation and input in planning care through communication with the RN and other patient care team members.
- Effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through communication with the care team.
- Maintains competency and possesses the skills to provide a safe environment to those medical patients requiring close supervision because of behavioral health issues.
- Completes duties as assigned and performs duties under the direct supervision of the RN.

Job Requirements
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent work experience:
Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
